Andrea Enria joins BoE’s prudential regulation committee

Andrea Enria, a former chair of the European Central Bank’s supervisory board, has been appointed to the Bank of England’s prudential regulation committee (PRC).

Enria, who joins the PRC today (January 28), completed his five-year term as the ECB’s top supervisory official in January 2024, when he handed over to Claudia Buch. He joined the BoE last May as a senior adviser, a role he will retain while sitting on the PRC.
