ECB staff survey shows deteriorating mental health

Two-thirds of European Central Bank (ECB) workers do not describe themselves as healthy, with 38.9% suffering from burnout, results from a survey commissioned by the ECB staff committee show.

Among respondents to the survey, seen by Central Banking, 72.8% reported experienced work-related psychosomatic symptoms that interfere “moderately or severely with their lives”.
