Argentine candidate promises opposition seats on BCRA board

Argentinian presidential candidate Sergio Massa has said he will give half the posts in the central bank leadership to the opposition if he is elected.

Speaking on television channel C5N, Massa promised “a central bank that would have half its representatives from the governing party and half its representatives from the opposition”. The candidate said this reflected his vision of a “government of national unity”.
