Michael Barr, the nominee as vice-chair for supervision at the US Federal Reserve, has said he plans to examine capital and liquidity regulation as a complete picture, rather than piecemeal.
“What I’d like to do is to come into this position if confirmed and wrap my arms around the whole capital and liquidity picture.
