BoE aims to boost comms with new ‘visual identity’

The Bank of England’s new website

The Bank of England launched a new “visual identity system” on March 3, including a redesigned website, new logo and changes to the way it presents data.

“One part of how we communicate is the ‘look and feel’ of our content,” the BoE said in a statement. “That includes things like our logo, and the colours and typography we use. We want to make these things more accessible and inclusive.”

The BoE carried out most of the development work in-house, to minimise costs, with some additional input
