Chilean president grants Marcel new term as governor

The president of Chile, Sebastián Piñera, named Mario Marcel to a second term as governor of the Central Bank of Chile on October 22.  

The president praised Marcel’s “valuable contributions to the management of monetary policy and his input to macroeconomic policy and the economic development of the country”.
