
MNB says unnamed politician failed to comply with inquiry; Tisza head says he is target of smears

The Central Bank of Hungary (MNB) has become embroiled in a public war of words with the leader of the country’s political opposition.
The MNB is investigating an unnamed number of parties for alleged insider trading. These include politicians, who had until April 22 to respond to the bank’s questions.
