Former Curaçao central bank execs told to repay misappropriated funds

A court in Curaçao has ordered former executives from the territory’s central bank to repay misallocated funds, as the institution continues to seek redress for corruption.

The case, brought by the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten (CBCS), concerns questionable payments for legal fees, bonuses related to the emergency plan for a collapsed bank, year-end bonuses and personal expenses.
