Trust in the Fed would fall among Democrats if Donald Trump is elected president, the study finds

People in the US tend to say the Federal Reserve favours whichever major political party they are not personally aligned with, a new study finds.

US citizens also show some distrust of the Fed’s ability to manage inflation and unemployment, the authors document.
