The US Senate confirmed Adriana Kugler as a member of the Federal Reserve Board on September 7.
Senators voted 53-45, mostly along party lines, to approve Kugler’s candidacy. All Democratic senators present voted in favour of Kugler, but only three Republicans – Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Mike Rounds. In July, Rounds was the only Republican on the Senate banking committee to support Kugler.
