Bank of Portugal governor Mário Centeno faces an ethics review, after outgoing prime António Costa proposed him as his successor.
Costa resigned on November 7 after prosecutors issued arrest warrants for members of his cabinet and raided government buildings in a wide-ranging corruption investigation.
