UK regulators extend complaints review after pressure from lawmakers

A consultation into the complaints scheme of the UK’s financial regulators has been extended after concerns were raised by a parliamentary committee.

On September 11, the chair of the Treasury Select Committee sent letters to Bank of England governor Andrew Bailey and interim Financial Conduct Authority chief executive Christopher Woolard regarding proposals to revise the complaints scheme.
