Household income rises slightly in OECD area in Q3 2021 as US decline offsets increases in other countries

7 Feb 2022 – Real household income per capita rose by 0.2% in the OECD area in the third quarter of 2021 compared with the previous quarter. Household income increased in most member countries, but this was offset by a 1.0% decline in the United States. The level of household income per capita across the OECD area is now 4.0% higher than the pre-pandemic level recorded in the fourth quarter of 2019.
