OECD Economic Survey of Malaysia 2021 – Thursday 12 August – Online press conference at 16:00 local time

 

05/08/2021 – The OECD will present its third Economic Survey of Malaysia on Thursday 12 August. The Survey examines how the COVID-19 crisis has affected the economy and discusses how best to ensure a strong and sustainable recovery. A special chapter looks at how Malaysia could build on its pre-pandemic efforts to strengthen the investment climate and reinvigorate business dynamism through further regulatory reforms and accelerating the adoption of digital technologies.

OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann will present the Survey’s key messages and take questions from the media alongside The Honourable Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister in the Prime Minister’s department (Economy) at an online press conference in English starting at 16:00 Kuala Lumpur time on Thursday 12 August.
