OECD Micro-, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSME) WEEK 2021 – 28 June – 2 July 2021 – Virtual events open to media

25/06/2021 – Small businesses and entrepreneurs around the globe are critical for a stable economic recovery. To strengthen the awareness of the contributions Micro-, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) make to economies, communities and societies and to foster a dialogue on the policies needed to empower MSMEs and entrepreneurship, the OECD is organising a series of virtual events 28 June – 2 July.

Events will begin with the launch of the SME and Entrepreneurship Outlook 2021 by the OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann at the UN MSME Day event. Throughout the week, sessions will cover themes critical to the economic recovery, such as resilience and dynamism of SMEs and entrepreneurship, women’s entrepreneurship and digitalisation and access to finance and skills.
